FOR YOUR INFORMATION:
There are 5 lakefront rental cottages on the property with a beautiful view of Lake
Pymatuning. All cottages have 2 bedrooms, a bathroom with shower stall, a kitchen/dining
area, and a living room with 2 sofas and a small TV. Cottage capacity is 4 people, 6 people
max if at least 2 are children/babies. Each cottage is supplied with 2 fans. Air conditioning is
available for a nominal fee.
Property features: Large shade trees by the cottages and lake. Beautiful lakefront property
and atmosphere with a large grassy area for swimming, recreation, and relaxing. Nightly lake
front campfires (firewood supplied). 2 kayaks and horseshoes are provided for your use.
There are 2 50-foot docks in front of the cottages and a boat launch within walking distance.
Kitchen is equipped with: gas stove (cottage #1 and 3 do not have ovens), refrigerator,
microwave, automatic drip coffee maker, toaster, cookware, dishes and silverware.
Each cottage has; 2 lawn chairs and a picnic table. Propane grills are available
for an additional fee (Please reserve at time of reservation to guarantee availability).
What you need to bring: Bed linens, blankets (pillows are provided), towels, paper and soap
products, charcoal, electronic equipment such as; VCR/DVD players, radios, etc.
One boat dock space per cottage is available. Extra boats per cottage need to make prior
arrangements with us. Each boat should have 2 good tie down ropes to tie up 2 ways. Either
an Ohio or PA fishing license can be used while in a boat on the lake, however, only a PA fishing
license can be used on the dock or from the PA shore. 10 HP limit on Lake Pymatuning.
Rental Boats Available: We have a pontoon boat for rent. Reservation and $100 deposit
required at time of cottage reservation to guarantee boat availability.
Directions: From Andover, Ohio take route 85 East, go over the causeway, immediately turn
right (south) onto South Lake Road. Coming from the north on I-79, take 322 West to 285
West. Coming from the South on I-79, take 285 West up to the causeway. Turn left on South
Lake Road. At the corner of South Lake Road and 285 is the Little Bit Restaurant. Go 2.3
miles to a sign on the right that reads "Lakeview Knolls". Turn right and continue down to the
lake until you see the sign SHORE HAVEN COTTAGES on your left.
SHORE HAVEN COTTAGES RULES:
Please observe all rules to ensure the enjoyment and maximum safety of every guest.
1. COTTAGES ARE FOR REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY. 6 people maximum per
cottage if at least 2 are children. This includes overnight guests. $10 Charge per
person per night over 4 people. Please consult with us, Prior to your arrival, before
inviting daytime visitors or overnight guests to your cottage. Additional charges
may apply. No sleeping in tents, RV’s, motor homes or vehicles.
2. SORRY NO PETS. THIS INCLUDES VISITOR’S AND GUEST’S PETS.
3. PARK ONLY IN YOUR DESIGNATED SPACE. Limit 2 vehicles per cottage.
DO NOT DRIVE ON THE GRASS BY THE LAKE. DO NOT PARK OR UNLOAD
YOUR VEHICLE / BOAT ON THE ROADS BY THE LAKE OR COTTAGES.
4. ONLY USE DOCKS IN FRONT OF COTTAGES. Designated by markers 5A, 5B,
5C, 5D. DOCK/ MOOR YOUR BOAT ONLY IN YOUR DESIGNATED SPACE.
All docks are private. Do not fish from anyone else's dock or mooring spot.
5. CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES. Children are not
permitted to ride bikes, play ball, etc. by the cottages. The grassy area by the lake
is for this purpose. Children are not permitted by or around other guest's cottages.
Small children are not permitted on the docks, shoreline, or in the water without an
adult present. If a child cannot stand in the water at the end of the dock they must wear a
life jacket (we provide life jackets). SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK. No diving or running
from the dock. All children must be at their cottage by dark, unless with an adult.
6. DO NOT CLEAN FISH IN THE COTTAGE. Use the table provided by the lake.
All fish guts are to be put in plastic bags, tied securely, and put in freezer by the
shed. There are plastic shopping bags provided for the fish guts by the fish-cleaning table.
7. ALCOHOL and ILLEGAL DRUGS. Consumption of alcohol only by those of legal
age. Illegal use of drugs strictly prohibited. All violations of criminal law will be reported to
the proper Authorities and result in immediate removal from the property.
8. QUIET HOURS. 10:00 pm to 9:00 am. Be considerate of other guests around you.
9. CAMPFIRE ONLY BY THE LAKE IN THE FIRE RING. Last person to leave
must extinguish all fires. Do not throw garbage or food into the fire.
10. DO NOT FEED THE ANIMALS. It Attracts skunks and geese mess on the shore.
11. CHECKING OUT - CHECK OUT TIME IS 10:00 AM. Cottages must be clean
before you leave. Any damages or excessive cleaning will be charged accordingly.
Wash all dishes and put away. Clean stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot
before you leave. Clean grill and empty ashes. Put garbage in dumpster. Put keys back
on hook
